Artist’s Statement:

Wendy combines her love of the sea and her passion for glass, making work that captures the essence of the coast. The glass work reflects the ever-changing energy and seasonal colours so you will discover both serene and vibrant work. She uses a variety of materials and techniques to experiment with light and layers, often incorporating gold leaf and screen printed elements. She graduated with a 1st class degree in glass from Edinburgh College of Art, then received the Crafts Council Start Up Award to start The Red Brick Glass Studio in 2000. Wendy exhibits her work nationally, sells online, holds monthly fused glass workshops from her studio in West Lulworth and offers artists mentoring.
