Artist’s Statement:

The Artisan Yard in Wareham was started by locals James and Becky, they opened up this beautiful space in 2016 and now there’s over 25 local artists, crafters and makers who sell their work all year round. From original paintings and prints, to glassware, candles, jewellery, upcycled furniture, wood work, leather work, drawing, sculpture, pottery, textiles, photography, linoprinting, and so much more, the yard is full to the brim of beautifully locally made art and crafts. There’s also space for regular workshops and art classes and the yard is run on a day to day basis by the resident artisans so each time you visit you’ll be able to meet one of the talented makers.
