Artist’s Statement:

Nicky is a local painter who creates large stylised gouache paintings inspired by local scenes and wildlife. Patterns and interesting colour palettes have become a intrinsic part of her illustrative style, she loves obsessive details. After completing her masters in illustration at Arts university Bournemouth, Nicky went on to become a resident artist at Purbeck new wave gallery in Swanage. She still works and paints for this local gallery as well as managing her own shop, Fossil blue gallery in Wimborne.
