In late 2016, I was encouraged to pursue a business in art as I had to give up the world of employment due to chronic illness, and I had studied illustration at university. Unsure of where to start, I drew my friend’s dog, other friends wanted theirs done, and subsequently I found myself a pet portrait artist. As my chronic illness continues to affect me, building a potential life as an artist is a slow, but fun adventure, and I am branching out to drawing other subjects this year.
I have printed images of my drawings onto cards, mugs, coasters, keyrings and money boxes which can be found on my Etsy shop or at local dog shows and craft fairs. Details of these are available on my website.
