As an artist I enjoy textures as they create depth and colour and reflect nature.
I have recently completed a foundation diploma at Weymouth College and am just coming to the end of my first year on a Contemporary Fine Arts Degree also at Weymouth College.
I am experimenting with a wide range of mixed media and mixed medium’s, from drawing, painting, printing, plus textiles.
I have recently engaged in exploring the medium of sculpture, which makes me feel like I am on a new adventure, as I used a plasma cutter and welder on steel and am excited by the effect it creates on the material, a rustic, natural patina.
