Rollington Barn

I was born and grew up in Studland and Swanage so returning to live in Wareham is definitely a return to my roots. I am lucky enough to have a home based garden studio where I am able to work and plan to have an open studio next year. I have always enjoyed art but having worked full time in a demanding career it is only now that I am retired I can devote much more time to art and craft. The Purbecks are an area that offers beauty in the countryside, space to breath and inspiration to do all things creative. I am always keen to explore new mediums with my current favourites being watercolour and pastel. I will try to paint or draw any subject from landscape to portraits but I always seem to lean towards dogs and animals. I have also recently enjoyed courses in pottery, felt work and willow. The range of arts available to learn in this area are incredible with so many amazing artists offering to show you their skills. I am an active member of Wareham Art Club and have recently become a member of PAW.
