Artist’s Statement:

“Woodland wanderer and unashamed tree hugger, I am a fine art Creative Nature and Landscape Photographer, originally from Essex but now living and working in beautiful rural Dorset.
Inspired by the beauty of nature and the landscape, I seek to capture the true spirit and essence of the land, and my images can often be abstract and impressionistic, verging on the spiritual in nature. In this way I invite the viewer to connect more deeply with the scene and consequently to put their own interpretation to the picture. My greatest passion is photographing trees, especially in winter where the bare branches reveal the true character of these amazing sentient beings. I also love to capture water in all its glorious forms, from the stillness and calm of a beautiful lake to thundering waterfalls, flowing rivers and gentle streams as well as the awesome power of the sea.
I firmly believe that spending time in nature is extremely beneficial and essential for our wellbeing, and through my work I endeavour to encourage others to reconnect to the healing powers of our beautiful and precious Earth Mother.”
