Artist’s Statement:

“My love of the sea and all of the living creatures that inhabit our waters has inspired me to create a range of sea creature canvasses and decorated shells and carapaces in box frames using beads and old jewellery items donated by friends or sourced from charity shops.
So far, I have created over 20 pieces and have raised over £500 for the Swanage Fish Festival chosen charities- Swanage Lifeboats, Swanage Coastwatch and The Fishermen’s Mission.
Some of my pieces have been made using jewellery once worn by loved ones who have passed away and serve as lovely mementos.”
