Rollington Barn & Open Studio 26

This is my second year at PAW, which I’m excited to be part of again. At Rollington Barn my jewellery collection is inspired by this year’s PAW Theme ‘Changing seasons’. I’m a member of Worth Matravers Creative Artists where my collection in Worth Matravers Village Hall has been influenced by the Ballet ‘Swan Lake’ and the brilliant film ‘Black Swan’.
I mainly work in Resin, Clay, Copper & Silver. I love how these mediums start out either as a clear liquid or a flat piece of raw material. I can then shape and mould into whatever happens to be spinning around in my imagination.
Always looking and enjoy learning new techniques that I can then explore to add to a design, this helps make a collection different each time with many designs becoming unique one-off statement pieces.
All the pieces have findings (earring posts, chains & clasps) of Silver or Rose gold plated.
