Artist’s Statement:

“I have always loved painting and drawing and since moving to the wonderful Purbeck coast, I have had more opportunities to explore that passion. Exploring the wild countryside and rugged seascapes inspired this collection of paintings.

I’ve spent most of life working hard as a teacher. With all the pressures this has brought, I’ve appreciated how beneficial it is to paint and draw to alleviate stress and anxiety. I like to be able to immerse myself in colour and creativity. I’m enjoying learning about new techniques and developing ideas.”
